Please be sure to continue gathering books and reference materials for your Animal Research Report. We will be working on it during our Language Arts block every day this week & into next. Please use the following website to help you with your citations for the Bibliography in your Report:

LACMA Field Trip

Reminders

Important Fifth Grade Reminders!

  •  Tomorrow at 8am is 1st Friday/Whole School Mass. Following mass at 9am is the Honors Awards Assembly in the church. Please join us if you can! 
  •    Next Monday and Wednesday are our field trips to LACMA (Monday, April 7th) and the MUSIC CENTER (Wednesday, April 9th). Students must BRING LUNCHES to school on both days due to the timing of the field trips.

Note to Parents & Chaperones:

-On Monday, we will be leaving the school at 8:45AM and returning at 2:00PM

-On Wednesday, we will be leaving the school at 9:45AM and returning at 1:30PM

Spelling Bee Champions!

Congratulations to our two fifth grade 1st place Spelling Bee winners! Monica Rodriguez and Kenneth Duran demonstrated unbelievable discipline in studying all of the words through the 8th grade spelling list and we are so very proud of them!

Kenneth and Monica also went on to compete in the 7th and 8th grade Spelling Bee and came in 1st and 2nd place against 8th graders! We are so proud of their hard work!

Thank you to the parent board for the amazing decorations!
