Wednesday:Twin Day
                  Presentation from representatives from the Walt Disney Concert Hall
Thursday: School Spirit day, WEAR YOUR Light Blue CLASS COLOR
                 Pep Rally, 1P
                 NO P.E.
Friday: Whole school mass --> wear your full school uniform!

Important Announcements:

--->Tutoring has been moved to Tuesdays! Wednesdays are currently unavailable. Thank you for your understanding :)

--->This Sunday is FAMILY MASS. Please come dressed in full uniform! Also, Open House is from 9A-2P on Sunday for individuals interested in becoming a part of the St. Raphael School family. 
                  * School Mass 8:00am Spanish; 10:00am English; 12:00pm Spanish;
                   *Pancake Breakfast 9:00am-1:00pm - $5.00 a plate

Hello students and family,

 Let us take some time to remember a most amazing leader in our country's history (and the reason why we do not have school today!) and his most famous lines.....

-This Friday, January 21st, is a MINIMUM DAY.

-Please be sure that you have signed and returned the "Good Touch/Bad Touch" form with your child.

-The Social Studies Writing Assignment FINAL DRAFT is due Friday, January 21st.

Week of 1/3/2011

Dear students and parents,

Welcome to the new year -- 2011!
Thank you for all of your help with our class Christmas party!

Announcements:

*This Friday is Whole School Mass (Please come dressed in full uniform): 1st reading-Brionna, Petitions-Jer'shaun, Alter Dress- Nildy & Jackie

*Reading logs have been changed to 30 minutes every night instead of 25 minutes. Please take note.


*Scoliosis Screenings begin this week, please sign and return the form that was sent home with your child if you do not wish for them to be tested. 


*Students were asked to memorize all of their multiplication facts by the start of school (yesterday)--notices are being sent home to the parents of those students who are in danger of failing due to the lack of memorization of the multiplication facts.

** Thursday: Practice Spelling Test and Science Quiz (Pollution and Conservation of Water, P. C48 in Science Book- Lesson 2)

** Friday: Spelling and Vocabulary Tests, "Mae Jemison: Space Scientist" (Words can be found on the left side of the blog)
